今週のプロフィ—ル Profile of the Week

かつよさんは、2012年の5月にヤーンアライブに参加し始めてからいつも素敵な笑顔を見せてくれています。 ヤーンアライブに来始めてから編物を習うようになりました。色々な作品作りに挑戦しています。ヤーンアライブに来て、仲間とお喋りしながら編物をしていると、苦しかった時のことを忘れられるそうです。

Katsuyo is never short of a beautiful smile! She has been sharing that smile at Yarn Alive since May 2012. By coming to Yarn Alive, she has been able to learn how to knit which she loves (she also loves crocheting).  She does not have just one favorite project but has loved them all.  Hoshisan shared that she likes coming to Yarn Alive because as they all knit/crochet and talk, she can forget about things from the past.

毛糸レイ（首飾り）Yarn Lei

ハワイからいらしたふさ子さんの指導で毛糸のレイを編む皆さん。皆さん真剣で教室は静かでした。

You could have heard a pin drop in Yarn Alive today! We have never had it this quiet before!  With the help of Fusakosan from Hawaii, the ladies were so focused in learning the new skill of crocheting yarn lei.

今週のプロフィ—ル Profile of the Week

糟谷さんはヤーンアライブで仲間と一緒に手編みや鍵棒編み をするのが大好きです。特に音楽を聴きながらするとはかどります。彼女は手編みに疲れると鍵棒編みに切り替えます。好きな色は白。ポンチョや膝掛け、ベストを作ったりするのが好きです。

Kasuyasan loves coming to Yarn Alive and knitting/crocheting with everyone.  She especially loves to knit and crochet while listening to music.  When she gets tired from knitting, she likes to switch to crocheting.  Her favorite color is white and she loves doing all the different kinds of projects like ponchos, blankets and vests.
